Last Step First! : Replacing a Key-cap | |||||||||||||

We start with the last step because, for many people, it is the only step needed (it assumes the scissor hinge mechanism is in place). Simply, line up the replacement key-cap over the center of the scissor hinge mechanism and press down on the center of the key-cap. You may have to press down more than once because clip positions need to line up. You should hear "clicks" when the key-cap fixes properly onto the hinge scissor mechanism. You're done! |
