Privacy Policy

We, irithm LLC, only get the minimum buyer order information needed to ship buyer ordered parts
to the address they specify with email (sometimes telephone) for order confirmation and any problem resolution. Further, other than aggregating numbers of sales of particular parts for inventory control at irithm, we only use buyer order information for the packing and shipping of ordered parts and communicating with buyers about the packing and shipping of their ordered parts - nothing else.

Elaboration on points in the Privacy Policy

The above privacy policy should be read in a strong sense. So that, it excludes any exchanges of information to any third parties in any sense that we, irithm LLC, have a use for those exchanges of information. For example, it excludes completely any gifting or any sale or or any affiliate arrangement or any quid pro quo arrangement for the exchange of information to any third party. The only other kind of exchanges of information to third parties not mentioned would be those forced upon us by law (e.g. sub poenas). Given the nature of our business, it is unlikely that we would be legally compelled to exchange buyer order information to third parties. However, if any third party claimed they have a legal right to view any of our buyer order information then we would not allow them any access to any information until after the third party demonstrates to our satisfaction their have actual legal rights to access any buyer order information held by us.

Note, we gather buyer order information from one particular third party: Paypal. In all cases that Paypal sends us buyer order information, the buyers must have made prior, agreements, separate to this privacy policy, with Paypal that include agreeing to the transmission of personal buyer contact/address information to seller/merchants, like us, in the event of a purchase of goods or services from the seller/merchant, for example, in the purchase of keyboard key parts from us.

In the context of our privacy policy, "minimum buyer order information," can be divided into two parts:
(i) order details and (ii) personal buyer contact/address information.

Order detail information simply specifies which particular keyboard key parts the buyer wants to buy from us and, may include free text comments written by the buyer to us. This is not considered personally sensitive information. It is entered by buyers at our website (www.irithm.com) for unencrypted transmission over the internet. Order detail information is only used internally at irithm for inventory control, for packing orders for shipment to the orders' buyers and for communicating with the buyers about their order packing and shipment details.

Personal buyer contact/address information is not collected directly by us at our website. However, all buyer purchases made from us use the money transfer services of Paypal and these are accompanied by transmission of personal buyer contact/address information from Paypal to us. Again, in order to use Paypal money transfer services, all buyers must have made prior, agreements, separate to this privacy policy, with Paypal that include agreeing to the transmission of personal buyer contact/address information to seller/merchants, like us, in the event of a purchase of goods or services from the seller/merchant, for example, in the purchase of keyboard key parts from us.

Personal buyer contact/address information transmitted to us by Paypal consists of: (i) name; (ii) shipping address; (iii) email address (iv) (very rarely) contact telephone number. Buyer name and address is only used for addressing packages of our parts for shipment to the buyer - nothing else. Buyer email address is only used for order confirmation and any problem resolution - nothing else. Buyer telephone numbers are almost never transmitted to us by Paypal and we ignore them if they are. However, if a buyer volunteers their telephone number to us during email correspondance on problem resolution then we probably will use the telephone number to call for problem resolution but only for problem resolution - nothing else. Nothing else really means nothing else: Names, shipping addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers are only used by us for the explicit uses mentioned in this paragraph.

Beyond names, shipping addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers, no piece of personal information information is used by us - none. No credit card numbers, no debit card numbers, no bank account numbers, nothing.

To be clear about about credit and debit card and bank account numbers: Some buyers, while paying for orders placed at our web-site (www.irithm.com), may enter their credit or debit card or bank account numbers in a web-page form that is part of the online payment process for their order. If a buyer does this then they will inputting their information into an encryted Paypal web-page (the URL for the web-page will start with "https://www.paypal.com/ ..."). When the credit/debit card or bank account information is sent over the internet then (a) it is sent to Paypal, (b) it is strongly encrypted and (c) Paypal does NOT share any of this credit/debit card or bank account information with us or anybody else. So, we do not have any credit card, debit card or bank account information to use - none. This is good for you buyers and it is good for us because it makes things simpler.
