Last Step First! : Replacing a Key-cap | |||||||||||

We start with the last step because, for many people, it is the only step needed (it assumes the hinge scissor mechanism is in place). Simply, line up the replacement key-cap over the center of the hinge scissor mechanism and press down on the center of the key-cap. You should hear "clicks" when the key-cap fixes properly onto the hinge scissor mechanism. You're done! Tip: If you are having trouble with the "click down" then you probably need to turn the key-cap around through 180 degrees. |
